Here's a first sample of the 'big dog' in action. I'm still suffering with a trapped nerve and can't play for more than a couple of minutes - this may also be due to the fact that big dog weighs a ton!
You can hear the buzzing on the first string and the actions a bit high, but these things can be sorted. The achievement is that it actually makes a sound!
Already sounds great Andy, just get the beast fettled to suite you and never look back! If Harry is on a roll don't get in his way. All power to Harry!
Apart from a couple of minor wrinkles that can be ironed out,it looks like a banjo, it sounds like a banjo - IT IS A BANJO - and a damned good one at that.
Please congratulate Uncle Harry and sentence him to transportation to Botany Bay. (We'll have him, anytime.)
I can now actually hear the high action, it sounds great, but also a little painful to play. Don`t worry, your fingers will get used to it, and any other actions will seem a doddle.
