They are taken from Patrick Costello's Outlaws and Scalawags Songbook, which is a great collection of outlaw songs tabbed for banjo. It is available as a creative commons pdf at http://www.archive.org/details/SingAlongBanjoVolumeOneOutlawsScalawags and includes loads of great songs.
