I take it that Steve's Diddley Bow is home made? Sounds awsome, what do we need to make one? Looks like an old plank, a tin can, some strings and a pick-up.
Well Andy I am totally hooked I gotta make one,and no it dont need to be locked in a hutch with anything else. this is the purist instrument ever made. Now I understand how Steve plays his knackered 3 string guitar so well,(great fan of his by the way) keep you posted on the making of it if your interested
Hi Andy The uke looks good-Good luck with the project. I am still gathering parts, This must be a completely cost free Diddley Bow or it wont be true to the ethos of the instrument! However free advice would be welcome, Especially about amping it up. Thanks Pete
